I could give you a bunch of reasons why i concentrate on the simple stuff, but mainly it’s power.

Screens are cheap and low cost and power, driven by the vast number of mobile phones in use. Articulation is higher powered. This wouldn’t matter except that batteries are heavy, and wireless communication is still harder than, say, USB.

Of course this will all be solved with time, which gives us a triangle of constraints if we want to see our products on sale for 15 bucks in Walgreens.
