The Hills Are Alive with the Sound of Interaction Design

In particular, a couple of years ago I co-authored a book called Mind Hacks. There are a bunch of experiments you can do at home, or with friends, or in-front of your computer, and they help explain how your brain works. There’s lots of handy stuff for interface design – for knowing, when you’re designing a screen or UI, which bits will grab attention and which will escape it – and loads of psychology.

So now you know where I come from.

Here’s one more thing about me: I read a bunch of science fiction. Sometimes reading science fiction is a valuable life skill.
