I’d put the same on shoes. The leather or shiny plastic runners alongside shoes? I’d put plastic on those. They wouldn’t be pulled off by people in-store, trying the shoes on, so they’d always remain for you to remove at home. And peeling them off, making the shoes yours, would be profoundly satisfying. The act would make crossing the threshold of ownership just that little bit more engaging, just a little enriched.

It’s a tiny intervention.

These small touches are what make hit products.
