Why is the Web like this? Well, this by the by, but I blame Larry Wall, inventor of Perl, the language that triggered the scripting revolution that first allowed websites to be dynamic, and allowed non-engineers to be programmers. And I think we’ve inherited these qualities.
The three chief virtues of a programmer are laziness, impatience and hubris.
But as I said, that’s kind of by the by, because the Web world is coming to the world of product.
