The Hills Are Alive with the Sound of Interaction Design

[Usually Jack comes up and speaks about himself for this and the next slide. For the moment, I’ll note what he covers.

Jack is a trained graphic designer, and interested in maps. Maps are very important, and it’s important to understand the act of seeing and moving, how we see maps and buildings. But that’s for another time.

Jack is also an interaction designer, and a maker.

This is part of the vending machine that transforms Metal Phone from one shape to another. He designed and created this machine. It’s good to be able to make these things, and get your hands dirty with the technology and stuff itself, to find out what they can do. You understand new possibilities of making and design through putting things together.

He also works with electronics and 3d modelling.]
