The Hills Are Alive with the Sound of Interaction Design

Let’s take a second to recap.

I’ve introduced this idea of products which enrich experience, or the moments of engagement. I’ve said that Generation C expect products which do this, because for them it’s all about the moments of engagement. I’ve also said that if they don’t get the products they want, Generation C are motivated and able to create those products themselves.

I’ve also claimed that one approach to invent new products, like this, is to make the products celebrate their process more, and we can get inspiration through looking at places, in the world we already know, where the process is celebrated.

The places we can look, to see how we all get exited about process, include thresholds, friendship, and sports.

Now I want to wrap up by taking a step away from this design approach, and have a quick look at the kind of products I’ve discussed.
